People are never satisfied! We came from the primitive world of black and white pictures to the colored ones that we have today. But did we satisfy ourselves? No, still we look for a higher trend, to add something new to our technology. Now we have the underwater cameras that allow us to see the world underneath the waves. To capture the time spent with the creatures of the sea.

Fuji is recognized globally for its technological innovation and high quality. Fujifilm actually introduced the world's first one-time-use 35mm camera – the QuickSnap. Fujifilm's technology is now licensed to many other manufacturers of one-time-use cameras.

Fujifilm is also becoming a Hollywood standard. Up to date movie blockbusters, including Punch-Drunk Love, The Wedding Planner, and Holes were all filmed on Fujifilm motion picture film. Fujifilm has received both an Academy Award and an Emmy for Technical Merit.

How dependable are these cameras? Lets take a short look at the latest innovations - Fuji Underwater cameras.

The Fuji Fine Pix F440 packs just a bit more zoom than any other cameras in its class. When it comes to charging the battery, you have two options, either use the AC adapter built within the camera, or to use the included camera dock. In both case, it takes two hours to charge the battery. The camera has only two accessories, a carrying case and an underwater case. The underwater case lets you take the camera upto 40 metres underwater. The F440 doesn't support conversion lenses or an external flash -- not surprisingly.

This camera is an all-metal camera that can go anywhere you want. Its construction is definitely good and of higher quality than cheaper Fuji cameras. The controls are well-placed, although the micro buttons on the four-way controller are a bit too small for some. One thing that bothers some consumers is that cameras like this can easily be scratched!

Another camera is the FinePix F10. This camera can shoot at 6.3 Megapixels at ISO 1600 -- something no other point-and-shoot camera can do. It has a unique "natural light mode" for taking sharp pictures for lower light conditions without having to dwell on flash. There are a few accessories that can go along with this camera. But the most amazing of all these accessories is the WP-FXF10 waterproof case, which let you take the camera for 40 meters down under water.

With these great Fuji underwater camers you can enjoy the sights of the underwater over and over again.

Two years ago I purchased my first digital camera. At that time, prices for a 3.0 and higher mega pixel camera were around $350. Since then, as with all electronic gadgets, prices have dropped significantly while the mega pixels have gone up. I chose the Fujifilm's A303 digital camera, which has fared well for me, so permit me the opportunity to tell you why.

I desperately needed a digital camera when my web business took off. On many different occasions I found myself wanting to take a picture of a person, place or thing and having to rely on a 35mm camera. Trouble was I wasn't very good at taking pictures. Usually my subject came out blurry or the picture needed cropping. Yes, getting pictures developed on disk would have resolved the latter problem, but it was the former problem -- blurry pictures -- that was causing me the most grief. If only I could see "on the spot" how my picture turned out. If it turned out poorly, I could reshoot. Naturally, a digital camera presented to me something that no 35mm camera could offer; I made the purchase of a 3.2 mega pixel camera by Fujifilm after considerable shopping around and reading product reviews online.

Packed within a tough grey shell, the A303 is lightweight and can fit easily into your pant pockets. The camera's controls are simple to figure out and include a Menu/OK button, Back button, viewfinder, viewfinder lamp, a display buttion and LCD monitor to preview pictures without looking through the viewfinder or to review pictures already taken. A round dial in the back of the camera features a self timer mode where you can set the camera and ten seconds later have the picture go off. Great for when you want to get the entire family's picture and no one is around to take it. There are also close up modes, still image, playback and movie modes. The movie mode results in a fairly choppy and short film, but it is a neat feature to have nevertheless.

The standard camera comes equipped with a 16mb picture card. Most people will find that inadequate, so I paid a little bit extra and bought the 64mb upgrade. I also purchased rechargeable AA batteries -- it takes two -- and a recharger. You will sap your batteries quickly if you take 30-40 or more pictures at a time, so the recharger makes sense. I purchased the accompanying Fujifilm carrying case to house my other supplies.

Pictures come out clear and in two years of picture taking I have not experienced a single problem with the camera. At 3.2 mega pixels the pictures are more than adequate as virtually everything I do gets posted to the internet. Supposedly you do not need more mega pixels when posting/viewing pictures online. With the included USB cable and HP software, you will be uploading pictures to the internet in no time.

If there are any drawbacks with the A303 there is just one and it is a glaring problem: the time between shots can seem endless! I suppose the elapsed time is only about ten seconds, but it seems like an eternity especially compared to 35mm cameras. Technological improvements have closed the gap considerably with newer models, but if you need this camera to take a group of shots quickly you will be disappointed.

All in all, the A303 is a very good camera. I give it a 4-star rating for ease of use, price, and dependability.

To the ordinary consumers, Fujifilm Holdings Corporation is best known for its photographic and imaging products like Fuji digital cameras. This Tokyo-based company, however, is much more than that. Fujifilm has also distinguished itself in office equipment products, flat panel display, medical systems, and life sciences. The company counts on 223 subsidiaries and over 70,000 employees worldwide for the manufacture, distribution and product research.

In 2007, Fujifilm emerged no. 17 in the listing of companies with the most patents registered in the USA, an indication of the company's vast technological armory in optics, digital imaging, thin film coating and fine chemical applications. With almost $25 billion in global revenues, Fujifilm has consistently ranked among the world's largest companies, occupying the 142nd slot on Fortune Magazine Top 400 and holding the 217th place on BusinessWeek's Global 1000 list.

Formerly operating as Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., the company was the prime-mover of the development of Japan's first electronic computer, called FUJIC, which saw completion in 1956. In more contemporary times, Fujinon lenses helped shape movie making history with a Fujifilm company supplying high-definition lenses in the filming of Darth Vader scenes shot in total darkness for the George Lucas' Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. A high-definition Fujinon Cine lens was developed for these particular scenes which are difficult to film with regular movie camera equipment. What the Fujinon HD Cine lens delivered were images expressing texture and reproducing subtle black hues. The high performance of these lenses enabled the Fujifilm company Fujinon to win an Emmy Award for Technology and Engineering.

The same outstanding technology is at work in Fuji digital cameras, particularly in the Fuji Finepix models which have set the trend in compact models excelling in low-light shooting conditions. Among the advanced technologies that go into these Fuji compacts is the Super CCD EXR sensor, which is one of the selling points of the Finepix F200 EXR. The sensors of these Fuji digital cameras bring in a versatile feature that helps the photographer adapt to three different shooting environments.

There is a fine capture mode, wherein these Fuji Finepix cameras employ 12-megapixel resolution of the EXR pixel array to capture images in bright colours up to the smallest detail. For high-contrast shooting situations, a photographer can switch to the dual capture mode wherein the Fuji compact reads two images and merges them into a single image of up to 800% in wide dynamic range to produce pictures that reveal subtleties and shadow, and eliminate washout in the brightest areas. In low-lighting situations, the Super CCD EXR is ready to take charge with its pixel-fusion mode, high-sensitivity features and pixel-binning capability wherein two pixels are combined into one super-pixel.

There are two different modes by which to access these Super CCD EXR modes. One is the priority mode which allows the photographer to manually set any of the EXR modes suitable to the shooting condition. The other is the auto mode wherein the Fuji digital cameras automatically set the best EXR mode for the shooting situation to deliver the perfect image.

Fujifilm is not just a leader in the photographic industry, it is actually known as the world's number one photographic company. They have always been at the head of the pack as technological advances in photography evolve, striving to bring the world the newest and best Fujifilm Digital Cameras possible.

Fujifilm Digital Cameras cover a wide assortment of cameras that suit most any need. One market that does exceedingly well is the beginner to average camera user. This user has a very specific list of needs. As they have limited knowledge about the ins and outs of photography, they are much more simple than those needs of the advanced to professional user. This user finds that they need a camera that is very compact in size so that it can be tucked inside their tote or pocket as they are walking out the door on their way to that birthday party or family reunion. Because of its compact size, it is convenient to take along and doesn't require a bunch of accessories in order to use it.

There is nothing worse than seeing the perfect photo opportunity, reaching for your digital camera, turning it on and getting ready to snap the picture and then realizing that your battery died! It is very frustrating as the possibility of that ideal situation occurring again is very slim, so you just missed the perfect photo moment. In order to eliminate this problem, many Fujifilm digital cameras come with long life batteries. These batteries last much longer than other brands. So now, when your chance to take that one of a kind shot happens, you can point and click with confidence as you know your camera will perform how you expect it to.

Not only are Fujifilm digital cameras one of the best in high quality digital cameras, they are also one of the easiest to operate. They feature an easy to follow menu that takes you step by step through the picture taking process. The Fujifilm digital cameras also come with optical zoom features as well as a flash system. By detecting the lighting situations and adjusting accordingly, the flash system allows the most beginner user to take very natural looking photographs. All of the easy to use features permit the user to operate the digital camera with confidence and ease and to take more pictures in less time. You will find that you can do this and more with the Fuji 3800Z digital camera. It is highly rated for quality of picture, durability and ease of use. It uses standard AA batteries and is lightweight so it is easy to handle.

When trying to find the camera that is just right for you, take some time to do a little research. Whether you are looking for an everyday point and click camera such as the F40FD or something more advanced like the S9000, as you look at all the different Fujifilm Digital Cameras that are available, you can be confident that you will find the one that is just right for your camera needs.

One of the most trusted names in Digital Cameras, Fuji, originated in Japan in 1934 as a small little camera manufacturing company nestled in the foothills of Mt. Fuji. Little did they know that such a small camera producing company would be the giant it is today. At present, Fuji reaches a global market with the addition of offices in the United States and has turned into a name known and trusted by the photography industry. Fuji is not only known as the makers of fine Fuji digital cameras, but they are also known for being innovative technology leaders in their field.

Fuji digital cameras were first introduced in the United States in the late 1990's with the lightest mega pixel digital camera available at that time. As the advancements were made in technology, Fuji continued to forge ahead and provide a wide range of digital cameras including the world's first digital camera with removable media, the MX-700. The development of this type camera literally made the digital camera world explode.

Firmly established in the digital revolution, Fuji prides itself on its high technological standards and the need for continuous research in the field of digital photography. With the introduction of Nano Cubic technology, Fuji was able to enhance the ability of digital videotapes to increase their recording capacity to 1000 two-hour movies. This technology also made it possible to produce the XD-Picture Card. This card was the smallest storage media card of its kind in 2002.

Because Fuji Digital Cameras are light in weight, they are easy to take along with you where ever you go. They come with optical zoom features and a flash system that automatically reads the lighting situations at hand and makes the necessary adjustments to allow you to take the perfect natural looking photograph. Because Fuji Digital Cameras are so easy to operate, even the most novice photographer is able to use this camera with ease.

As you can see, when it comes to Fuji, you know that you are getting the best in Digital Cameras. Some of the more recent additions to the Fuji Digital Camera line include the A-Series camera. This camera is quite simply a point and shoot camera that is perfect for the most basic user. For the next step, consumers can try the E-Series camera. You will find that not only is it compact but is also a full featured camera with manual control. The F-series cameras are ultra compact cameras with full features and come in different styles. For the more sophisticated photographer, the S-Series camera is an advanced camera with optic controls. If you are in the market for an extremely advanced camera, then the S-Pro Series is what you will need. This camera is definitely a camera for the professional.

Fuji digital cameras come in many sleek and stylish models. From the Soccer Mom on the run to the more proficient trained photographer, you will find that Fuji Digital Cameras have all the features that you need to capture all those memories that are cherished in life.

With so many digital cameras out there on the market, it has become quite difficult to make a decision as to which camera to buy. First there is the terminology. You might find it a little overwhelming to try to figure out all the camera jargon so the easiest thing to remember when trying to choose the right digital camera for your needs is that you will want one that has a large megapixel number. The larger the megapixel number, the larger the image can be without losing image quality. It is helpful to make a checklist so that you can compare all the different features and functions that are available on cameras today. This makes the decision process much easier as you narrow the field to find a camera that best suits your needs. Fuji Finepix digital cameras offer a wide variety of cameras to choose from.

As for point and shoot digital cameras, the best one going is the Fuji Finepix digital camera as it allows even the most inexperienced photographer to shoot like a pro. The Fuji Finepix F50FD digital camera is a very affordable camera that comes with 12.0 megapixels, 8.2 times digital zoom and has three times the optical zoom. This camera is lightweight and compact so it is perfect to take anywhere you may go. Its 2.7 inch viewing screen allows you to easily see your subjects before and after you have taken the picture.

Another feature that you will like is that it has face detection along with red eye reduction. This will put an end to all those pictures that would be just perfect except for the red eyes. With dual image stabilization, you never have to worry about a blurry picture even if you shake a little during use. Depending on your needs as far as features, picture quality, and other options, you will find that the Fuji Finepix F50FD is a versatile camera for the price, just right for beginners and up.

The S700, another Fuji Finepix digital camera, is another example of quality workmanship at a reasonable price. Although it only has 7.1 megapixels, is still produces a good quality picture. The S700 Digital Camera has a two and a half inch viewing screen which allows you to view your shot with ease. A very enticing feature of the S700 is its fourteen pre-programed scene modes. This allows the user to adjust the scene settings to one that best fits the type of environment they are in while shooting pictures. For example, if you are outside in the bright light, you would choose the outdoors mode and the camera would automatically adjust to meet those conditions. This feature almost makes picture taking fool proof.

Whether you are a novice or a professional, compared to other digital cameras that have similar specifications and features, you will find the Fuji Finepix Digital Cameras to be very nice cameras that produce high quality pictures time and time again.

If you have been in the market for a new digital camera or, for that matter, are in the market for purchasing your first digital camera you have probably browsed through a number of consumer electronics shops to see what cameras are available. If you have done this regularly then you probably have noticed the prevalence of Fuji digital cameras on the store’s shelves.

There is a strong reason for this: Fuji has produced some of the best cameras on the market for decades and this has led to tremendous brand loyalty among repeat customers. Of course, if you have never purchased a Fuji camera before there may be a few questions you have about the quality of the camera. Hopefully, some of these questions and concerns can be addressed here.

An Overview of Various Fuji Digital Cameras

There are a multitude of Fuji Digital Cameras on the market and to attempt to describe each in depth would be somewhat impossible given the relatively limited space available. A comprehensive examination of all of Fuji’s available digital cameras past and present would practically require an encyclopedia to chronicle! So, rather than attempt such a Herculean task it would be much wiser to simply address the traits that are common among the bulk of the Fuji digital cameras on the market and, most specifically, it is important to address the positives and the benefits associated with these top of the line cameras.

Fuji digital cameras are generally easy to operate and do not require any specialized or fixed knowledge in order to operate. This makes the Fuji digital cameras accessible to pretty much all consumers and novices in particular who are looking for a camera that aid in their ability to snap pics of vacations, sporting events and other such activities. The cameras also come with zoom capabilities that are fairly decent although “extra” zooming will require the use of a zoom attachment that can be purchased as an accessory.

Now, the prices of Fuji digital cameras can vary depending on the type of camera that the consumer is looking to purchase. Once again, if the consumer is looking for a basic camera there is no need to shell out hundreds of dollars for a camera with a variety of features the consumer will probably not use. Instead, it would be best to purchase a less expensive and more basic camera that can perform simple common functions.

Advances in Photography have come a long way in the past several years. The development of compact digital photography has essentially put an end to bulky, heavy cameras, rolls of film and flashcubes. Now, the average person can take great shots with very little effort or skill.

The key is finding the right camera to do this job for you. Most of us take personal photographs that we save to be handed down from generation to generation. So, a multi-function digital camera that comes with every feature imaginable is slightly overkill, not to mention expensive. You would be wasting your time and money on such a camera as you would never use it to its fullest capacity. What you need is a compact digital camera. When looking for such a camera, one name should come to mind, Fuji. Fuji Compact Digital Cameras are available in a wide assortment of types that will fit the needs of most anyone.

When looking for a Fuji compact digital camera, you will find that they will allow for much more control and flexibility with the shots you take. Because digital cameras have a viewing screen, you are able to actually see the picture you just shot and if you don't like it, you can simply delete it and take another one. No longer do you have to wait until you get your film developed to see if the shots turned out and then be disappointed because they didn't. This feature alone makes compact digital cameras invaluable as you can make sure you have the perfect shot of that special occasion that can not be redone, such as birthdays, sports events, weddings, etc.

Another cool option you have with Fuji compact digital cameras is that you can store all the photos you take on a reusable media card. Once loaded, this card can be inserted into your personal computer where you can upload the pictures and use a photo editing program to get them just how you want them. Then, you can choose the ones you want and print them out on a photo printer.

Once they are printed, you have a few options. You can save them to your computer's hard drive or copy them to CDs. The best thing about digital photography is that you never have to worry about your photos fading over time. They will always be preserved on disc and can be viewed when ever you like by popping the CD into your computer, putting an end to bulky photo albums. After you have downloaded all the images from the media card, just wipe the card clean and you are ready to take more pictures.

When looking at the array of Fuji Compact Digital Cameras, the Fuji FinePix F10 stands out. This compact digital camera comes with a good mix of features and options and produces excellent picture quality photos. It is made for the beginner to average digital camera user and is reasonably priced. As you can see, digital photography is the way of the future, so abandon all those old methods and take advantage of the new technology that is offered with Fuji Digital Cameras.

SLR or Single Lens Reflex refers to another type of Fuji Digital Camera. If you are looking for a serious camera with a wide range of features, then you might consider checking out the SLR Digital cameras. This kind of camera is not for the beginner shutter bug who is just interested in getting the snapshot of a loved one. The advanced features on Fuji Digital SLR Cameras are ones that are desired by the professional photographer.

Because of the more advanced features, you must know that any SLR digital camera is going to be considered an investment, as it costs significantly more than your average run of the mill digital camera. Not only do you have the base camera cost, the addition of extra lenses needs to be factored in too. This isn't to dissuade you from buying one but to make you aware of what the costs could be. One such investment, of a SLR digital camera, is one that the serious professional photographer is willing to make in order to allow for more creative control. You will find that you will reap far greater rewards on the back end after the initial investment is made in the front end.

Fuji Digital SLR Cameras are so desirable because of the wonderful features they possess. They turn on almost instantly and as a result, are in focus in a matter of seconds. This allows you to be ready to take photo after photo in rapid succession. It is just a matter of being able to press the shutter button! By depressing the shutter button only half way, you enable the auto focus and the auto exposure feature. This again allows you to take a faster, more clear shot by permitting you to track those moving targets, guaranteeing the your photos are in focus and come out crystal clear. Their high speed shutters also afford you the luxury to freeze the motion of your subject so that you are able to capture that shot that you would not have a chance of taking with the slower compact digital cameras.

Because of the investment you make when purchasing a digital SLR camera, it is comforting to know that these cameras are built to last. Like anything that sports the Fuji name, Fuji Digital SLC Cameras are built solid. Although they are able to withstand even the most aggressive handling, it is not suggested to treat them in such a manner. Unlike their compact digital counterparts, you will see that digital SLR cameras do not have electronic shutters that can be subject to breakdown during use. You will find mechanical moving parts instead that are made to last for 50,000 shots or more.

You will find that the Fuji digital SLR cameras are available in several models such as the Fujifilm Finepix S2 PRO, S3 PRO and the S5 PRO to name a few. With so many models to choose from, you can now put an end to the common complaints that we have about compact digital cameras like, "all my photos turn out blurry" or "by the time I get ready to take the shot, the moment is gone…" If SLR digital cameras are anything at all, they are certainly fast!
